How Do I Find my Facebook Fan Page?

Hi Patrick! I don’t see the page at that URL. When you look at the page yourself, is that the URL that shows up for you?

I can’t seem to find the toolbar either. Is there an app that needs to be activated?

it’s changed again and the ‘PAGES’ have been lost once more… Any ideas where they may have hidden it this time?

I can see pages that I admin but no mention of the others.

Yes. If you login to Facebook, on the left hand side you’ll see a column that lists news feed, messages, events, photos, friends, etc. Towards the bottom you should see an option that says “Ads and Pages.” If you click on this, it will pull up your entire list of pages you administrate. You can also access any ads you may be managing through the Ads Manager at the top of this page. Hope that helps!

I’m sorry, but I can’t find it. Home page, Profile page, I see the other things you are talking about, but not the Ads and Pages.

What if you type the name of your fan page into your search box at the top of your profile? Does the page come up for you then?

click on account-> edit pages.

I think the thing that has not been mentioned and easily overlooked if you already have a fan page is that you NEED TO CRETE A PAGE in the first place. along the very bottom click on Advertising, then after this in the top right corner of the new window is a green button stating ironically “Create a page”, select this and input the relevant information as requested and then revert back to the posts shown here.

I’m no longer able to administer my fan pages as it says i don’t have any pages. I guess I’m screwed! I’ve sent several emails but don’t really expect an answer.

Like Jeremy I can’t find the list with ads & pages either…home page or profile page. I can search and find the site but it doesn’t have an “edit pages” under account. HEEEELLLLPPPP!!!!

If you click on account in the upper right hand corner, you should see a “manage pages” option as the second one down.
Also, as long as you’re a page admin, you can always go directly to the page in question and you can administrate from there.

Does Facebook delete pages unsolicited without any notification?! I cannot find a page that I administered and it no longer shows up on Search!!

I’ve never heard of Facebook deleting a page without notification. If you post content that violates their terms of service they will typically send you an email letting you know, although there is often little you can do for recourse. Hope you had some luck finding your page!

so does the page you create show up in your main profile page somewhere? i am not sure why i should make a page if no one not even myself can find it?

If you create a fan page, it exists on Facebook for anyone to find. If you’re an admin of a page, it is accessible for editing from your main profile. You can either click on “ads and pages” in the left hand menu, or just type the name of your page into search and get to it that way. If you’re an admin, any time you go to the page you’re able to edit it. Hope that helps!

What do you mean you can’t find it? If you are logged into your main Facebook profile page, you should be able to type the name of your fan page into search and get to it that way. Or, you can click on “ads and pages” in the left hand column, from your main profile page, and you’ll see a list of the pages you’re an admin for there. Let me know if that works ok for you!

Facebook does delete pages from time to time if they violate the terms of service, but they generally send a notification email to the email address associated with your Facebook login. I have heard of cases where pages are deleted without notice, however. I would recommend reaching out to Facebook via Twitter (@Facebook), or contact them through their advertising team in order to get some answers. They can be very difficult to contact otherwise.

I don’t have that nifty tool bar but I did finally discover how to access my fan pages for editing. First, go to your profile page and click Edit Profile in the top right corner. Then, go to the left of the page and click on Activities and Interests. Then you will see in very small print, Show Other Pages under the Interests part.

Facebook is definitely a very confusing platform to administer. I don’t think they give very much thought to usability and would probably not use it if it weren’t so popular. Here is how you get to your ‘Pages’ you created once you have logged in from your main profile.

At the very bottom of the page (yes you have to keep scrolling as Facebook ‘conveniently’ keep displaying more Posts is a small navigation bar (About, Advertising, Create a Page …. Help).

Click on Advertising.

On the left navigation column is a the Navigation element everyone is struggling to find because it’s buried down here called ‘Pages’. Click this and your various Pages will be listed and you can then click on an individual one to edit it.

I can’t find a way to add the video app to my facebook page so I can add videos to my photo album. I have two videos a friend did of us and posted them to my profile page. I want them in my photo album and when I tried to do so, it said I needed to add the video app. I have searched all the help options…nothing works…HELP!

Hoping someone could help my issue of our company Facebook fan page not coming up in Google, Yahoo or Bing search results any longer.

Our company FB page is facebook.com/chromewheels. We run 80 retail stores in 9 States. The search engines used to index and show our FB fan page, however, about 3 weeks ago I noticed it stopped. There were no changes at all to any privacy settings.

Any ideas?

Hi Kristen, I used to see our FB page when I typed either the URL itself or ‘rent a wheel rent a tire’. Now, those keyword phrases are not working when trying to find our FB page.

Looks like our FB page isn’t being indexed by Google, Yahoo and Bing. From the content we were adding and the fan base growing (from 950 to 1375 in 3 months) Google was indexing our site frequently…I would say every 5-7 days. And now it all seemed to stop. I can’t figure it out.

Appreciate any advice.

I created a facebook page and don’t know what I did wrong. The facebook page is there but, I am apparently not the admiistrator. I don’t have the page on the left with the ads. I can’t delete the page because it does not give me an edit option. please help.

Facebook is a cluster mess. There are so many people that cannot utilize fan pages. You would think with all the money behind then=m they could hire a logical thinking person for design.

Please Help !!!!!! I cannot administer my Facebook fan page.. I guess I have been removed as admin. When Post on my page, it does not stay on my page.. I cannot edit, manage or do anything on my page.. If I post on my page, it goes to most recent and does not remain on the wall.. Few weeks ago, my page was offenten updated, I thought it was because Of RSS updates I allowed.. After sometime I decided to delete the updates from RSS..And posted my own to my wall.. Now I want to delete the Post I posted on Fan page wall, I could not, it says report or mark as Spam. Oh, I spam no one. Don’t know what is happening.. I was told that some might have reported me as spamming or I was removed from my page as admin.. I wrote couple of times to facebook but np answer.. Now when I post to my fanpage, it shows me as my profile account because I have different Picture in both Fan page and profile page..Also the post goes to Filter (most recesnt) and not on the wall.

I have a Fanpage problem. I do know that is there because its my fanpage, but when I got into my brothers facebook, I put the name of my Fanpage in search, and it doesnt appear! So how would people know that I have a fanpage if it doesnt appear in search! Someone?? help!

I also couldn’t navigate to the link when i went to “edit my pages”. So I did a search for “short URL app”, found it, then got this error:

Empty response received.”

STUFF FACEBOOK…….. why cant they jus list my fan pages on the sidebar where I can fricken well see them….

FB Pages are very frustrating. I am the creator and admin for facebook.com/hawksicehockey. The page is no longer public. For some reason, FB has removed the page. I to not know if they have deleted it, since I have been contacting them for over a week through several different means and the page has not been restored, nor have I received any feedback.
We recently dismissed our Team Captain. Thereafter, he blocked several members of the Team, including me, on FB. Then, he started flaming the page. Because I was blocked, I could not manage his flaming posts on our page. So, I had to ban him (actually, my 2nd Admin banned him since he could see his profile). One day later, our page was down. I suspect that the former Captain fictitiously reported the page. But, FB did not follow-up in any fashion with me.
These are basic customer service issues. FB has taken action without investigation. Now, I cannot get the page restored since I cannot reach anyone at FB. Sad.

Ohhh I hope you guys can help. I have created a fan page for my empoyer. However when someone goes to search it on FB it doesn’t come up.

Any ideas? It is published, so I don’t know what else needs to be done. The whole point is to be searchable for our residents. Thanks so much.

I’ve recently created two fan pages. One shows up in FB search, the other does not. I’ve tried everything I can think of to make it show. Everything is set for public viewing. This page is for a client and their page NEEDS to show up in search.
