Christmas Shopping + Social Media

It’s that time of year, not just known as the Christmas Holidays, but as mad shoppers, bad drivers, and BIG sales and I mean BIG sales everywhere and we all want a piece of the deal savings! Forget clipping coupons and reading the Sunday’s ads in the paper, who has time to wait until Sunday anymore?! Tons of consumers, retailers and brands are now posting deals and holiday sales all over the web in real-time, most likely that’s the first place you’ll hear of a really hot deal and  huge upcoming sale.

What to do to be the one of the first to hear about sales and deals: First you need to find your favorite brands and stores online, on sites such as Facebook and Twitter ( which are the two biggest social media networks out there) Second, become their Fan on their Facebook and follow them on twitter.  Facebook and Twitter give us tools that give us immediate access to great deals and special offers, some of which aren’t available elsewhere.  Don’t be afraid to use Twitter or Facebook to contact your favorite stores and brands directly to ask if they have any current promotions available, or even to ask about specific products on your gift list. Social media is an easy and fast way to find out what your favorite brands and stores are promoting every day which means Hello to Holiday savings! Merry Christmas and thank you social media!
