iPhone In Danger of Viruses?

Today I read up on how not only are our computers at risk of viruses, but also our phones? Wow, never did I think we would have to protect phones from a hackers and viruses.

To shed a little light on this new virus, I have provided for you what to look for, what this nasty little virus can do and what to do in case you receive some funny SMS messages.

There is a serious security flaw that could allow any remote attacker to take control of the victim’s iPhone. Usually the hack/virus begins by sending a specially constructed SMS message, usually in the form of a single square character code. If this code is received and not ignored, the virus then allows the hacker to fully control your iPhone. It is advised that if you receive the square character, IMMEDIATELY turn your phone off!! As far as I know, a patch has not released for this virus.

Not only is the is the iPhone at risk, but apparently owners of Google Android, Windows Mobile phones, and Palm Pres are vulnerable to similar hacks as well.
